The Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers combined to score 22 runs on 33 hits on Wednesday night, with the Rangers winning the wild affair 13-9.  David Murphy went 4-5 with two home runs and five RBI to pace the attack for Texas.  Quintin Berry, Alex Avila, and Jhonny Peralta all had three hits for the Tigers.  Peralta had two RBI.  The Tigers begin a four game series in Tampa Bay on Thursday night.
