Austin Jackson became the first Tigers player to hit a triple and an inside the park home run in the same game since Steve Kemp in 1977 as the Detroit Tigers topped the Texas Rangers 6-2 on Friday night to open a six game road trip.  Prince Fielder hit a three run home run in the sixth to give Detroit the lead, while Miguel Cabrera and Delmon Young also knocked in runs.  Max Scherzer struck out eight in six innings to get the win.  Game two of a three game series in texas is set for Saturday night.
