The Detroit Tigers were able to avoid a sweep in Boston, by beating the Red Sox 7-3 on Thursday night.  Delmon Young had three hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs, whie Quintin Berry added three hits, an RBI, and two stolen bases for the Tigers.  Max Scherzer went six innings and got the victory.  The Tigers open a three game series with the Yankees on Friday night in Detroit.
