Wings Falter In Third

The Detroit Red Wings saw a four game win streak come to an end, as they allowed four goals in the third period and lost 5-2 in Phoenix on Saturday night.  Coyotes goalie Mike Smith became the 14 goalie in NHL history to score a goal, putting the puck into an empty net with less than a second to go in the game.  Pavel Datsyuk and Todd Bertuzzi scored first period goals to give the Wings and early 2-0 lead.  Mike Ribiero had two goals for Phoenix.  The Red Wings are home to San Jose on Monday.
