Wings Get Contriversial Win

Niklas Kronwall got credit for the game tying goal with 27 seconds left in the third period on Saturday night and the Detroit Red Wings went on the beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 in shootout.  The goal however went into the net after going out of play and hitting the netting above the glass before it drop back down to the ice and into the goal.  Under NHL rules the play is not reviewable and when none of the officials saw the puck go out of play the goal was allowed.  Henrik Zetterberg had the other Wings goal in the win.
