Michael Rassmussen scored in overtime to give the Detroit Red Wings a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night in the preseason opener at LCA. Trevor Hamilton and Jussi Jokinen also scored goals for the Wings, while Dennis Cholowski picked up two assists. The Wings face the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night in more preseason play in Detroit.
