Former Tiger Curtis Granderson hit a grand slam in the second inning as the New York Yankees beat the Detroit Tigers 9-4 on Friday night at Comerica Park.  Quitin Berry and Delmon Young each had three hits for the Tigers, while Ramon Santiago hit a home run.  Game two of a three game series is set for Saturday.
