The Detroit Tigers lost all four games to the Angels in California, falling 4-2 on Sunday night.  David Price took the loss, despite pitching into the 8th inning.  He left with two outs and the bases loaded in a 2-2 tie, but Joba Chamberlain gave up a two run single to Johnny Giavotella which proved to be the winning hit.  The Tigers head home to face Oakland on Tuesday in Detroit.
The Angels hit five home runs in the first two innings of the game off Shane Greene, on their way to an 8-6 win over the Tigers on Saturday.  Albert Pujols hit the final home run, a three run shot.  Yoenis Cespedes and Ian Kinsler had home runs for the Tigers, who out hit the Angels 13-9.  Los Angeles goes for a sweep in the four game series on Sunday.
The Tigers offense struggled again on Friday night, managing just four hits in a 2-0 loss to the Angels in Anaheim.  The Tigers have dropped the first two games of a four game series and have only nine hits in the two games combined.  Game three is Saturday night.
