Despite striking out 11 over less than six innings, Anibal Sanchez allowed seven runs and got no decision, as the Tigers lost on Sunday 10-8 to the Houston Astros.  Miguel Cabrera had a double and a home run, while Bryan Holaday drove in three runs.  The Tigers begin a three game series in Oakland on Monday afternoon.
Ian Kinsler hit into a triple play on Saturday as the Tigers fell a run short in a 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros.  Anthony Gose drove in both runs for the Tigers, who had a three game win streak come to an end.  The final game of a four game series is set for Sunday afternoon at Comerica Park.
JD Martinez hit a three run home run and Brian McCann singled in two runs, as the Detroit Tigers beat the Houston Astros 6-2 on Friday.  The Tigers have won three in a row.  Alfredo Simon allowed no earned runs over seven innings, allowing just four hits with five strike outs, to earn the victory.  Game three of a four game set is Saturday afternoon in Detroit.
