Max Scherzer allowed one run on four hits and struck out seven in seven innings to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the LA Dodgers and a sweep in a two game series at Comerica Park.  Ian Kinsler, Don Kelly, Nick Castellanos, and Torii Hunter drove in runs for the Tigers, who play in Kansas City on Thursday.
After falling behind 5-0 in the first inning, the Detroit Tigers roared back for a 14-5 win on Tuesday night at Comerica Park over the LA Dodgers.  Detroit belted a season high 20 hits as Rajai Davis picked up three and knocked in three runs.  Game two of a two game series is Wednesday afternoon.
The Tampa Bay Rays banged out 19 hits Sunday night to beat the Detroit Tigers 7-3 at Comerica Park, taking three out of four in their weekend series.  Rick Porcello came into the game off of back to back complete game shutouts, but he allowed seven runs in less than six innings of work to take the loss.  Torii Hunter and JD Martinez hit solo home runs for the Tigers.  Monday is a
