Gustav Nyquist scored a dazzling goal in overtime to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win in Ottawa on Saturday night. Henriik Zetterberg added a goal and an assist and Justin Abdelkader also scored for Detroit.
The Detroit Pistons scored a season high on Friday night and beat the Indiana Pacers 119-109 at the Palace to end a twelve game home losing streak. Seven players scored in double figures for Detroit led by Andre Drummond's 20. Greg Monroe added 19 with 15 rebounds and Brandon Jennings scored 14 and dished out ten assists. The Pistons play in Cleveland on Sunday.
