Around 500 attended a Town Hall forum by Governor Rick Snyder at McMorran Place Friday afternoon. The Governor took questions ranging from the construction of the Blue Water Bridge Plaza to the issue of casinos...an item he says he is not necesarily fond of due to both economic and social concerns. He hopes however that the plaza issue will be resolved and says a lot has to do with federal funding for the project. Questions from the audience were fielded by State Representatives Paul Muxlow and Andrea LaFontaine. State Senator Phil Pavlov and the local Chamber of Commerce hosted the event.
