Saints Go Marching On



The St. Clair High School baseball and softball teams each won their regional on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals in the State playoffs on Tuesday.  Both teams will head to Novi to play.  In baseball the Saints will go up against Dearborn Devine Child at 5 PM, while in softball the Saints face Livonia Ladywood at 6 PM.

St. Clair baseball won its regional at Richmond on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Madison Lamphere, followed by a 6-3 win over Richmond.  The Blue Devils made it to the finals with an 11-8 extra inning win over Orchard Lake St. Mary's.

In softball action at Richmond, the Saints beat Lamphere 10-0 and Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 4-2.  The Irish had beaten Richmond 7-5 to get to the finals.
