DeVos owned Windquest again set the pace for the 2012 Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac race. The yacht's name figures in several races both from Chicago and Port Huron having won past contests and overall honors. This year however Natalie J would get the handicapped honors after checking in at 8:45 p.m. Sunday or about three hours after Windquest captured the first to the island honors. It was the long ships with tall sails that completed the course first after getting the starting gun as the last category of racers Saturday afternoon. 219 set sail for Mackinac Saturday with many using colorful spinnaker sails.
