There could be a quick turnaround for the Water Street Marina property, which is being reconveyed back to the city of Port Huron after an Ohio-based developer failed to secure financing for a hotel and restaurant plan. City Manager Bruce Brown says other interested parties have already approached him about the property, which he thinks bodes well for a future development... and one that still involves a hotel and restaurant, along with improvements for the marina. Brown says at the present time he's been in contact with four hotel operators as well as a marina operator about their interest.
