The November 6th Presidential election in St. Clair County is finally over....that after a month of election vote certifications and recounting. A requested recount was wrapped up earlier this week with a 19-vote difference still standing in a close Emmett Township Clerk race. Beverly Brown, the incumbent, retains the position following a challenge from an Emmett Village councilwoman. It was the only formal recount request following the November election according to Saint Clair County Clerk Jay DeBoyer.
