HORSING AROUND IN THE VILLAGE OF LEXINGTON




Around 140 horses participated in the second annual Lexington Horse parade Saturday.  It was one of many festive activities that was going on in the local area.  Parade director Fred Marengo and local radio announcer Paul Miller talked about how money raised during he event went to the Hay Bank of Michigan which helps keep horses well fed even during hard economic times.  Elsewhere parades were held in Yale and Marine City.
