TEEN ARRESTED IN EARLY MORNING PORT HURON CHASE

 
Port Huron Police say, a 17-year-old is in custody for a long list of violations following a stolen car chase early this morning.  The Fort Gratiot Township resident was observed by police driving with a flat tire at about 3:00 a.m..  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but had to give chase between the area of Pine Grove and Stone and 10th and Glenwood.  The driver jumped over several curbs and managed to flatten the other three tires after which he took off on foot.  Police arrested the individual and have him held for several charges including fleeing and eluding, car theft, and marijuana possession.  The car was found to have been stolen from a Jeddo residence.
