The Blue Water River Walk project keeps chugging along, with it deemed as one of the most important developments for the local area. Thursday saw a walking tour of the site, by the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners, with Chair Jeff Bohm saying it's an investment that will pay off dividends over the next several decades. He notes that the six million dollar project is one that couldn't be attempted by just one organization or government unit. The development is being spearheaded by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County, along with many other partners. The Foundation's Randy Maiers says, this year is seeing the bulk of the shoreline restoration work completed, with some fine tuning to the work to be done next year. Commissioners, Thursday, held a special meeting for the purpose of reviewing the site and asking questions.
