The Croswell-Lexington Community Schools district is on the way to joining the St. Clair County Community College school district.  A regular session Thursday, for the SC4 Board of Trustees saw them approving the item, with Board President John Adair saying the move would be a win-win for everyone involved. The item still needs to go through a few more approvals. The Cros-Lex Board of Education would have to give their blessing, with SC4 President, Dr. Kevin Pollock, noting that if it's approved it would save the Cros-Lex district a significant amount of money.  Then, the measure would need voter approval of a 1.89-mill tax.  Officials say, if it's approved by voters, it would cost an average homeowner about $94-dollars a year. If it's approved by the Cros-Lex Board, it could be on the ballot in November.
