Lots of meetings are coming up for the Port Huron Area School District Board of Education. With Superintendent Ron Wollen having already announced his pending retirement the Board of Education has set several meeting dates to search for his replacement. The first is this week. Then three more will be held in January and one in February. The Board will be using the service of the Michigan leadership Institute and the Michigan Association of School Boards as they go about looking for a new superintendent. Wollen will head off into retirement at the end of the district's fiscal year June 30th.
