Entertainment News For Wednesday!

Taylor Swift is reportedly taking a break from dating because her business team is urging her to go solo for a while. The singer's reps are sick of setting her up on dates only to have her "strange personality" scare men off, according to sources. Her management team has a tough time finding dates for Swift because of the nature of her music, which focuses on heartbreak and ex-boyfriends. None of the guys she shows interest in want to be subject of a future song or be depicted as a bad guy. As a result, Swift's team reportedly urged the singer to step back from boys for a while.

Chris Evans has no plans to play a character other than Captain America, and when his commitment to Marvel ends Evans will only be working behind the camera as a director. Evans had previously revealed he wanted to take a break from acting after his time with the Marvel franchise, but now it appears he is going to end his career. He has already begun his second career, working on his directorial debut currently titled "1:30 Train" over the winter.  Between Captain American and Avengers films, Evans has three more commitments to Marvel on his current contract.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have separated, the couple confirmed in a post on Paltrow's website, Goop.com, on Tuesday in a post titled, "Conscious Uncoupling." The post reads, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate." The two celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in early December. The two married on December 5, 2003.
