The Detroit Tigers survived a ninth inning scare and beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-6 on Saturday for their fourth straight win to start the season. Torii Hunter hit a home run and a double and drove in five runs for the Tigers, while Don Kelly added three hits, including an RBI triple. Detroit led 7-1 going into the ninth, but Baltimore scored five runs and had two runners on base when Joe Nathan got the final out to record his first save as a Tiger. Rick Porcello got the win. The series finale is Sunday at Comerica Park.
