LOCAL JOB CREATION HELP COMING FROM WASHINGTON

 
The Obama administration has chosen Southeastern Michigan as one of 12 regions that will participate in a national program designed to help spur manufacturing jobs and private investments in the U.S. Southeastern Michigan will be designated a "Manufacturing Community" as part of the administration's "Investing in Manufacturing Communities Partnership" program. St. Clair County is included as part of the region. Each selected community also will receive a federal liaison and branding and promotion, as a designated Manufacturing Community, to help attract additional investments.
