An Alabama church group has reconsidered a billboard touting the importance of children's education with a quote from Adolf Hitler. The billboard shows a group of smiling children alongside the words, "He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future," and even gives credit to Hitler.  Life Savers Ministries decided to pull the promotion when observers questioned its content. A rep said, "We are pulling the billboard and certainly never intended to cause confusion. Herbert Hoover would have been a far better one to quote when he said, 'Children are our most valuable resource.' We are a children's organization and had honorable intentions and nothing less."

Instead of being happy to see a Cambodian man who had been missing for five days, his relatives and acquaintances were frightened when he finally showed up - because they were at his funeral. Mourners at the funeral of Kong Channeang started running away when he appeared that evening, just before his cremation was about to start. Channeang suffers from a hereditary mental illness and his family assumed he was dead after he went missing and a decomposing body was spotted floating in a river. When he appeared, Channeang's father Kong Vanny said that he ran to his son while everyone else was running away. The body that was thought to be Channeang was returned to authorities and buried.

A Washington man was busted after he allegedly was caught burning a bag of his own poop behind the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct. He was allegedly torching his feces in a paper bag  in an alley behind the precinct when officers went over to investigate. The blaze, which was about three feet away from trash bins stuffed with trash and paper, was quickly extinguished. The man admitted to starting the fire and told police he had "taken a poop and was trying to burn the poop away."  The man also claimed he was unaware it was illegal "to burn bags of feces behind police stations." Police reported that a crew from the Seattle Fire Department "mercifully came and hosed down the alley."
