Scherzer Shuts Down Sox

Max Scherzer threw the first complete game of his big league career, a three hit shutout, to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 4-0 win over the White Sox in Chicago on Thursday night.  Miguel Cabrera knocked in two runs and Victor Martinez hit a home run for the Tigets, who ended a three game losing streak.  The Tigers begin a three game series with Minnesota tonight at Comerica Park.
