USCGC BRISTOL BAY AVAILABLE FOR RACE SPECTATORS

How would you like a front row seat to watch the start of the 90th Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac Race? The Commander and crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay, and the Bayview Mackinac Race Committee invite you aboard the USCGC Bristol Bay for a ride out to view the boats as they take off this Saturday morning. Mackinac Race Chairman, Art LeVasseur says due to space limitations, reservations are required. You can get more information and purchase tickets by calling 313-822-1853 or, email office@byc.com.  The Bristol Bay , like its popular cousin the Mackinaw, is primarily an ice-breaking vessel….the second of the U.S. Coast Guard's 140-foot icebreaking tugs. She is named after the body of water formed by the Alaskan peninsula which empties into the Bering Sea.
