Temperatures were cool and so was the parade...so said many of the onlookers that watched the 2014 edition of the Rotary International Day Parade. It stepped off Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. without a problem. Over 80-entries in the line-up including many floats and musical entertainment from the likes of the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps and Windsor Optimist Band as well as both bands from the Port Huron Area School District. Thousands lined the parade route along Huron and Military. Officials say it was near perfect weather conditions for the parade which in the recent past had seen extreme heat.
