The McKinley school along Riverside Drive is now the new home of the Port Huron Area School District Administration Office. Offices were moved to the location from the Lapeer Avenue site over the last couple of weeks. McKinley, which has served a variety of purposes, was renovated over the past few months. It again serves as the regular location for Board of Education meetings. A special meeting of the board held Monday with President Jeff Stout saying two new administrators were appointed. Tracie Eschenburg and Theo Kerhoulas were recommended by newly hired Superintendent James Cain. The board’s next regular meeting is set for July 28th. Meanwhile school has already started at Cleveland Elementary for the 2014-2015 year. It’s part of a pilot program for year round school.
