Max Milosek
Port Huron Fighting Falcons goalie Max Milosek has not allowed a goal in 142 minutes of action. He posted back to back 7-0 shutouts over the Chicago Hitmen this past weekend, stopping 65 shots along the way. On Friday Milosek made 35 saves to post his second shutout of the season, and followed it up on Saturday with a 30 save performance to post his third shutout of the season.

Nikki Heim of Almont led the St. Clair County Community College Lady Skippers last week to a 1-1 record. Heim had a team high 17 points last Tuesday in a 71-64 loss to Owens Community College. The Port Huron High football team remained unbeaten after a 22-21 overtime win against state power Utica Eisenhower at Memorial Stadium on Friday night. Port Huron Northern dual athlete Quinn Kotsko starred in two sports last week for the Huskies. On Wednesday Kotsko led the Northern soccer team to a come back victory over Grosse Pointe South. Quinn scored the last three goals of the match, including the game winning goal with 3:26 left in the game, to give the Huskies a 5-4 win. Northern had trailed 4-1 at one point.

For the second week in a row the 13-14 year old girls softball team takes our athlete of the week honors. The ten player squad won the Little League World Series in Kirkland, Washington going undefeated in the ten team event. Cory Diaz help the Secory Flyers win the Blue Water Invitational 10-Man Mondified Softball Tournement over the weekend, making Secory's the first local team to win that event. Diaz, hit lead off for the Flyers and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. In the championship game against the Hurricanes, Cory had three hits, scored a run, and drove in a run in an 8-4 win.
