So who was in Taylor Swift’s entourage at the Video Music Awards from Sunday night? That would be the cast of her “Bad Blood” music video. Taylor’s squad included Selena Gomez, supermodel pals Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne, and actresses Hailee Steinfeld, Serayah and Mariska Hargitay. The lovely ladies even joined her on stage when she accepted the night’s biggest award, Video of the Year, for the hit single. During her acceptance speech, Taylor said, “These women helped create their parts, helped write their roles and decide what they wanted to be.”

 
Nooooo, James Earl Jones is not dead. He’s just the latest victim of a celebrity death hoax after a parody website posted news of his supposed demise. Clicking on the link took users to a page which declared “you got owned!” Facebook picked up on the fake death announcement and before you knew it, news of the actor’s “death” was trending. Some folks even tweeted their condolences. But rest assured, people, the voice of Darth Vader and Mufasa appears to be very much alive. As a matter of fact, he reportedly will be a part of the “Lion King” sequel and is starring with Cicely Tyson in an upcoming Broadway production of “The Gin Game.”

 
Billy Ray Cyrus is defending daughter Miley Cyrus’ sexuality by claiming, “She’s having a good time.” Recently, Miley came out as a “pansexual”, meaning she is not limited in sexual choice with regards to biological sex, gender, or gender identity. During Miley’s hosting duties at the VMAs, Billy Ray explained, “We’ve always been very open-minded. Listen, it’s all about love and light. Forget the negativity and the haters. She’s rocking and rolling and having a good time. What the world needs is love. There’s too much hate…The world needs positive influences. Even when she was a little girl, we told her, ‘Hey, baby, do what you do and have fun doing it. Do it because you love it, not because you have to.”
