The Community Foundation of St. Clair County has awarded over $1.5 million in grants this year and they're not done yet. In total this year donors and funds have provided more than $438,000 for Community & Economic Development, $345,000 for Education Programs & Scholarships, $285,000 for Health & Human Services, and $175,000 each towards Arts & Culture and Youth Programs. The foundation has also began a "Thankful Thursday" giveaway. Any local non-profit that gets the most comments on the foundations facebook page will receive a $500 check.
