Michigan Motorists have another reason to be thankful this November! The statewide average price for gas officially dropped below $2 for the first time since January 1st. The current statewide average is about $1.99 per gallon, down 24 cents from last week and about 92 cents less than this same time last year. According to AAA’s gas history report, the last time Michiganders saw an average price below $2 was January 1, 2015.
