The McLaren Port Huron Foundation Board of Trustees have launched an ambitious four-year $5 million fund raising campaign. Called "Rising to New Heights", the campaign will support improvements in patient care including the expansion efforts for the Karmanos Cancer Institute, a new four-story patient tower and hospital renovations. The foundation started receiving campaign funds shortly before groundbreaking began for their construction project in July. Recently, Jim and Cindy Rourke of Clay Twp. donated $500,000 towards the fund raising campaign. This week the foundation received a matching gift of $500,000 from Steve and Emily Goudy.
