Saint Clair County Commissioners hold their committee meetings tonight with a couple of millage requests and the continued search for a new administrator on the agendas. This August will see millage renewal askings for the Drug Task Force and the County’s Veterans office. The search for a new County Administrator may also be reviewed as dates are getting closer for the retirement of Bill Kauffman. Commissioners hope to have a new administrator selected by May 19th. Also tonight various reports are expected to be presented including annual presentations from the Road and Drain Commissions. The board will also take final action on the sale of county land to Baker College, which is to be used by the culinary institute for student dorm expansions. The committee meetings get underway at 6:00 pm in the second floor of the County’s Administration Building.
