The lawn mower blades are sharpened. buds are forming on trees, and the frogs are starting to make a sound but Mother Nature is refusing to cooperate. Again a weekend of cold blustery conditions which is marked as abnormal for this time of the year. When will spring get here? That’s a question we posed to National Weather Service Forecaster Dan Gurney of the White Lake, Michigan office…..Gurney says a long awaited break is on the way. Extended forecasts call for a return to normal in a week or two. That could bring temperatures back up to normal which would be in the mid-50’s. This weekend is likely to see the thermometer stuck below freezing for the highs and to near 20-degrees Fahrenheit for the low.
