The Marysville hockey team defeated Anchor Bay 5-2 on Tuesday night in the high school playoff opening game. Cooper Dove and Brendan Kolcz each scored twice for the Vikings, while Garrett James added the other goal. Jordan Guske had two goals for the Tars. Marysville will face Port Huron Northern on Thursday night at 6:15 PM at Glacier Pointe. In other playoff action, Port Huron High’s season ended on Tuesday with an 11-3 loss to Otisville-Lakeville in Flint.
