The Port Huron High Big Reds had two shots to win before the final buzzer, but neither went down, as Anchor Bay escaped with a 53-52 win over PHHS on Monday night in boy’s basketball district play at Macomb Dakota. Taylor Balon scored 18 for the Big Reds, while Ian Abraham added 13, and Tyler Lee 10. In other action, host Dakota beat Port Huron Northern 81-37. Matthew Baravik led the Huskies with 13 points.
