Down 40-33 late in the third the Goodrich girl’s basketball team went on a 23-5 run to close out the game, and beat Marine City 56-45 on Tuesday night in girl’s regional playoff action at Yale. Aaliya McQueen poured in 20 for the Martians, who will play Country Day in the final on Thursday. Marine City will finish the season (19-4). The Mariners got six three pointers from Karyssa Austin, who scored 18 points in the game. Stephanie Abraham added eight points for the Marine City.
