A suspect wanted in connection to a string of medical marijuana thefts has turned himself in to authorities. Frankie Lee Surratt surrendered to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department yesterday afternoon. Him and nine others are facing charges of breaking in to residences in Fort Gratiot and Greenwood Townships, stealing medical marijuana, unlawful imprisonment, and even torture. The sheriff’s department says his bond was set at 300-thousand-dollars and will face a probable cause hearing on November 28th. Authorities have been searching for Suratt for over a month.
