The Port Huron Area School District is moving forward with a bond proposal that was approved by voters last year. Classroom additions, a new early childhood center, and technology for staff and students are all in the works according to superintendent Jamie Cain. Speaking to WPHM’s Paul Miller, Cain says Garfield Elementary and Central Middle School are next on the to-do list. Rehab to the buildings will start in the coming weeks, which will see the addition of S.T.E.A.M labs. Also funded by the bond project was the purchase of 1500 Chrome books for students and 150 laptops for staff.
