Investigations continue into a crash near Brown City involving a jeep and a semi truck yesterday. The Lapeer County Sheriff says it happened around noon when a Jeep entered the intersection of Burnside Road and Butternut road, into the path of a westbound semi truck. The Jeep was driven by a 16 year old from Brown City with a 14 year old passenger, both were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The semi truck driver, a 24 year old Kitchener Ontario man, was uninjured. Authorities say weather and roadway conditions don’t appear to be a factor in the crash at this time.
