Port Huron Police continue to investigate a fatal crash that occurred earlier this week at the intersection of 24th street and Dove Roads. Authorities say a fleeing vehicle ran a red light, striking several cars in the intersection and killing a driver. The victim has been identified as 48-year old Kristine Donahue of Chesterfield Township. The suspected driver is a 35-year old female from Port Huron who had an expired license, she is still in critical condition at a Detroit area hospital. The three male passengers in the vehicle, all from Port Huron, are also recovering from injuries. Two of the passengers have warrants for failure to appear in court, and the third passenger has a parole violation out of the Lansing area. Upon completion of investigations, the case will be reviewed by the St. Clair County Prosecutor to determine charges.
