Accolades being received last night for members of our Radio First family at the annual “Dinner for Kids Sake” put on by the St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council. Recognized for his 13 years of “roof sitting” on the top of the Birchwood Mall was Chuck Santoni of Q-Country 107 WSAQ. Roof Sit is an annual fundraiser in September which raises money and awareness for the Child Abuse and Neglect Council. Santoni last night also passed the torch to new WSAQ morning personality Matt Markham who will be participating in this year’s event. Also recognized last night by the CAN Council as child advocates of the year were Larry Smith, former General Manager for Radio First, Sheriff Tim Donnellon, and Prosecuting Attorney Mike Wendling.
