Authorities in Sanilac County are investigating a rollover accident that sent one to the hospital Sunday evening. Sheriff’s Deputies say it happened on Maple Valley Road near Morgan Road in Flynn Township. A Jeep Wrangler was heading southbound when it then left the roadway, hitting a ditch embankment, and then going airborne, landing on the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver of the Jeep told deputies that he believes he fell asleep at the wheel. He was wearing his seat belt and was taken to Marlette Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.
