The City of Croswell will be receiving 5-million dollars worth of grants from the United States Department of Agriculture’s rural development program. The funds will be used by the city to improve its water, sewer, and waste disposal systems. According to 10th district Congressman Paul Mitchell, Croswell’s sewer system is over 50 years old and is in need of repairs. The USDA’s Office of Rural Development provides low-to-no interest financing for infrastructure projects in America’s small cities and villages.
