It’s more relief at the pump, as AAA of Michigan reports another double digit drop in the statewide average gas prices. Pumps across Michigan are currently asking about $2.63 a gallon for regular unleaded, which is 28-cents less than this time last month and 41-cents less than this time last year. Industry analysts say increased gas supplies for the summer driving season are expected to keep prices low. The most expensive gas in the state can be found in the Upper Peninsula and the least expensive fuel can be found in Grand Rapids, Flint, and the Tri-Cities area. Across the area, pumps are $2.65 in both Sanilac and Macomb Counties, while Lapeer county pumps are around $2.59 and St. Clair County pumps are around $2.57 a gallon for regular unleaded.
