Three teens injured in Worth Township crash

A rollover accident near Lexington sent three teenagers to the hospital yesterday. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 11:30am on Gardner Line Road east of Cribbins Road in Worth Township. A car driven by a 17 year old Lexington man was westbound on Gardner Line when he is believed to have lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn and the come to rest back upright on its wheels. Two other occupants were in the vehicle, a 17 year old from Croswell and a 16 year old from Peck. All three were transported by Croswell EMS to a Port Huron hospital for treatment of injuries. Authorities say speed and a lack of seat belts being worn were factors in the crash and charges may be sought through the Sanilac County Prosecutors office.
