The final yacht crossed the finish line at 11:54 AM on Tuesday officially ending this years 95th Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race. Earth Voyager was first to the island, finishing on Sunday at 5:37 PM, in 27 hours, 47 minutes, and 8 seconds. Sojourner was the final boat to finish on Wednesday in 70 hours, 54 minutes, and 22 seconds. Elminator had the corrected time in the fleet, winning the Shore Course at 33:45:55. Stripes was top finisher on the Cove Island Course with a time of 35:47:58. Five yachts from Port Huron placed in the race, with first place class finishes for Flash and Trav’ler, a second place finish for 50/50, and third place finishes for Liberty and Major Detail in their classes. 50/50 was fifth overall on the Shore Course and Flash was ninth overall on the Shore.
