Marysville City Council could enact a ban on marijuana establishments this evening during a regular session meeting of City Council. The ordinance, which had it’s first reading two weeks ago, would not allow marijuana stores and growing operations within the city. If Marysville does not enact the ordinance, the city would be automatically opted-in to allow such establishments under a law approved by Michigan voters last year. Marysville City Council will meet at 7:30pm tonight. Meanwhile, Port Huron City Council is off tonight and will reconvene September 9th where they are expected to enact a similar ordinance.
